Dressed Up Denim Recap
It was a beautiful day at Nowthen Alliance Church for our Dressed-Up Denim Fashion Show. If you did not attend, you missed a wonderful venue and great food. (Some of the best food ever at any of our Fashion Shows!) We had wonderful creations showcased by our members and Junior members. Our annual Presidents Challenge was “Sophisticated Effortlessness” with Kay Bererson winning with her Upcycled Denim tablecloth made into a dress. A wonderful sewing machine cake was made and donated by one of are members and it was won by Kay Bererson. Kay also won one of the door prizes. (I think she must have rigged this, just kidding)
Thank you to all our volunteers and those that stepped up the day of the show. I would also like to give a big Thank You to all the neighbor groups that made a basket for our silent auction. There were wonderful baskets to auctioned off. A big shout out to all our retail supporters that donated to the auction and all the people that donated jeans and jean pocket for the table decorations. You can thank them by visiting the sponsoring retailers and don’t forget to thank them for their support. A special thanks to Bonnie Johnson for stepping up to emcee.
