Lynda spent her 40 year career in the world of pattern fitting. Starting out in NYC as a patternmaker for manufacturers, ultimately owning a pattern service for the garment center before shifting to developing private label clothing for retailers. Some of her clients included Marc Jacobs, TSE Cashmere, J.McLaughlin, and Armani AX. She was the Director of Technical Design for Lane Bryant, Talbots and in her most recent role with Christopher and Banks, from where she recently retired. Lynda is ready to share her tremendous knowledge with us!

Class size limit 40 participants
In this class, we will explore developing clothing by draping fabric directly on a dress form. You will learn how to create basic patterns to fit your form, then manipulate grainlines to create variations to change dart placement, and create princess seams, pleats and gathers. We will make bodices, skirts and pants.
Bring a form if you have one, 3-5 yards of muslin, pins, scissors, tape measure, ruler, and a pencil.You are most welcome to take this class even if you don't have a dress form. We will share.
