The Annual Meeting and Election is set!

Chapter President Rosemary Mengelkoch, along with the Chapter Advisory Board invites all members to our Annual Meeting and Election of Officers*. Please join us to celebrate our accomplishments, share a delicious lunch and participate in a discussion related to sewing for individual body types (e.g. should I REALLY be wearing those wide leg pants and broad shouldered tops? What is a good length for the hem of my skirts?) Prepare to take notes and leave with a fresh take on your personal style!
The schedule of events:
11:00 AM Registration
12:00 Lunch to include Semi-boneless chicken, Smashed Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, garden salad, bread, water, coffee and dessert (We are assured the menu is gluten-free/allergy/religious restriction friendly)
12:45 Annual Meeting with Election of Officers*
1:45 Guest Speaker, Kristin Henak
Her presentation will discuss the type/style of garments that would be the most flattering for individual body types.
Kristin is from Material Girls Sewing. Material Girls is dedicated to teaching sewists in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area the techniques and skills to create the garments that they envision through Fashion Sewing Club, classes and private lessons.
The Registration Fee is $25.00 for members, $35.00 for non-members. The registration deadline is Monday, October 30, 2023.
