Experience the magic of forming a 3-D bowl using clothesline, fabric strips, and your sewing machine! Make decorative bowls for your table, sewing accessories, or the remote. A welcome gift idea. The same technique can also be used for coasters or placemats. The class will include many ideas for finishing your bowl with handles, binding, or dye. If you have already experimented with a round bowl, come and learn to make an oval, square, or heart shape. You will enjoy seeing how fabrics blend as your bowl takes shape.

Teacher Kris Livingston is an ASG member who has taught this class in several venues. She has professional experience in home furnishings, costume design, and children’s wear. Kris enjoys encouraging people in sewing and creativity.
