Ready, Set, Sew! Learn how to use a serger! Do you have a serger you don’t know how to use? Are you a little confused about threading? Take the fear out of serging and get comfortable with what could become your favorite sewing tool.

Get to know your new serger or reacquainted with your old! I will take you through machine parts, threading, rolled hem, lowering the knife, differential feed, tension, how to finish serger tails, cleaning, and oiling, and much more in the end we will create sample sheets with various serging techniques and make a zipper bag on the serger.

Bring to Class: Serger, manual, scissors, tweezers, and extra needles. 1 spool of each: Red, Blue, Green and Yellow thread. If you have a 5 thread overlook machine, bring a spool of purple thread.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
